Bishops Castle in Janow Podlaski, deteriorating over the last few decades, got a new chance to regain its former glory. New owner of the castle – the company ARCHE – at the end of 2015 has converted the abandoned castle and over 40-hectare estate in the four-star hotel and conference center. There are almost 400 beds in 200 rooms and suites in a new facility . For the construction work in the underground parts were used i.a formwork systems of Palisander. In addition to 9-metre- high shoring towers ID-15, used to support the ceiling, slab system PAL-20 was used as well. To strengthen the historic foundations in existing buildings of the castle Arche company used props that are part of the PAL-20 formwork . Curvilinear formwork Trapeze was used to perform circular retention tanks.
